Get a premium Customer Experience using the Tikkie API
Tikkie completes the sales funnel. Omoda is a company that sells shoes, bags, and accessories. The company is all about innovation. Staff in physical stores use an in-store app that allows customers to pay for products that are not in stock. For a short while, customers have been able to pay using Tikkie — and it has been very useful for both customers and staff.
In-store tablet app
You probably know how it goes: you’re in love with that gorgeous pair of shoes but they don’t have your size. No problem! Omoda has a smart solution with its in-store tablet app. Staff can use the app to quickly check whether an item is in stock at the central warehouse or at another store.
Pay now or at home
Thanks to the integration of the Tikkie API, the shoes can be ordered and paid for using a tablet. If the product is in stock, you enter your details. You can then scan a Tikkie QR code on the tablet and pay directly. You can either pay through a QR code or through a text message containing the Tikkie payment link. The text message option has the additional benefit of giving you some time to think about it. The returns process is also easy. Changed your mind about the shoes? You can return them free of charge and the money will be automatically refunded to the account used for payment. In order words, you get your Tikkie back.
Omnichannel solution for retailers
Tikkie was integrated by Magnus, Omoda’s omnichannel partner. Michiel Arnoldus from Magnus: ‘We integrated Tikkie into our tablet solution that we use in stores. It gives Omoda instant certainty that the customer’s order has been paid for, and there is also a simple refund process. Other retailers can also use it in this way. We have integrated it as a standard feature of our platform.’
A natural sales process
Only one question remains: what do customers think of it? Noëlle Mathijssen from Omoda: ‘The customers are very positive about it. It’s easy for both us and the customer, so it’s a win-win situation!’ Michiel completely agrees: ‘The entire sales process is much more natural because everything is taken care of during the discussion with the customer.’
