New version of the Payment Initiation (PSD2) API

We’re excited to announce the launch of version 2 of the Payment Initiation (PSD2) API!

Based on your feedback and the latest European Instant Payment Regulation, this new version has been designed to further enhance your experience. It introduces additional functionalities and aligns closely with the Berlin Standard, ensuring market-leading practices.

What’s new in version 2:

• Timestamp of receipt by the beneficiary, supporting instant payment processing.
• Improved JSON formatting, in line with market standards.
• A highly stable API for seamless operations.
• Non-SEPA functionality will be added early next year.

To help you get started, detailed documentation is now available on the ABN AMRO Developer Portal. You can also access the Sandbox environment for testing to ensure a smooth transition.
