This new version brings improved navigation, a refreshed design, and a more intuitive information structure, making it easier for users to explore the portal for their use case. Introduction

APIs are very important in todays digital financial ecosystem. As ABN AMRO continues to expand its API offerings, we want the Developer Portal to actively support and amplify that growth. The new version of the portal has been launched to enhance your experience, improve content discoverability, and help you achieve your goals more efficiently. With a clearer, more intuitive interface, we want to enable you to innovate even faster and be able to get you what you need.

What’s new in this version?

• A refreshed design with ABN AMRO’s updated branding
  The portal adopts ABN AMRO’s modernized visual identity, offering a cleaner, more accessible, and consistent experience.
• More intuitive navigation and information architecture
  The structure of the portal has been changed to make key content easier to access:
  • Reorganized content structure
    Information that previously spread across multiple sections—such as partner content, community materials, and open‑source resources—is now consolidated into the Explore page. Additionally, release notes are now separated from the documentation, improving their visibility and findability.
  • Added News section: Announcements & Use Cases
    Introduction of the News page, to provide clearer visibility of API‑related updates and announcements. It contains two types of content:
    Announcements
    Updates about APIs and the portal itself, including new versions, features, documentation changes, and other improvements.
    Use Cases
    Real-world examples demonstrating how companies benefit from our APIs. Use this examples to explore how APIs may support your own solutions.
  • Better integration of content
    While the Developer Portal focuses on API-specific content, broader community articles remain available via ABN AMRO Developer on Medium.
• Improved logged-in experience
  We have enhanced the logged‑in dashboard to give developers a clearer overview of their account.
